Your Thighs Might Be Mad - Free Breakfast at Denny’s
Apparently Denny’s is offering free breakfast today. Yawn. I’m not touched. Why? I’ve NEVER eaten at Denny’s nor do I intend to - ever.
I revealed this little “shocking” tidbit to the78msj via Tweets the other night. Her response: Not even after the club??? Nope. It’s really too late to be eating after a night of dancing the calories away. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose??
But if I ever felt the need, my spot would be Swingers on Beverly.The fact of the matter is that Denny’s simply is not HAUTE! There, I said it.
But, for those that dare throw caution to the haute wind, be my guest. Free Grand Slams (which I hear only cost $3 anyway, so really what’s the fuss?) for all down at your local Denny’s.
Have all the carbs and fat you like! But don’t be tacky - you still need to leave a tip!
LOL! Unfortunately, some of us live in lil towns where the only place open after 2 am is Denny’s. Used to be a great little Mexican joint that was open till 4, but for the past few years, it’s Denny’s for coffee after work or after the bars close or if you finally get up the courage to go ahead and meet that sweetie you’ve been chatting with for months - and it’s the middle of the night. Yup. I met my last sweetie for the first time at Denny’s. We didn’t have a Grand Slam, though.
Girl… my hips, thighs and butt would be angry but my tummy jumping for joy.
I used to eat at Denny’s during the 1980’s in Southern California. We even had a San Diego City MAP with every Denny’s marked and hi-lited in yellow! Wow. My dietary habits have changed: no Denny’s in twenty years!!
what’s the fuss? it’s f*r*e*e!! :p LoL! In this society where money talks, and everyone’s wondering about job stability and the like, the prospect of a free breakfast is probably really appealing.
I hear IHOP will be doing a similar free thingy on Feb 24th - it’s National Pancake Day, apparently, and they’ll give one short stack of pancakes to everyone, between 7am - 10pm.
